UK government confirms deep cuts in solar support from August.

The government that it will impose deep cuts to the feed-in tariff incentives available for large solar installations of between 40 and 70 per cent. Future installations with over 50kW of capacity are now probably  untenable. Developers of planned projects have won the right to take their case against the government to the High Court. Dozens of community projects will now no longer go ahead, the Guardian discovers.
