US brands embrace solar in an increasingly big way.

REW: “A recentĀ report from the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), in conjunction with theĀ Vote Solar initiative, offers a snapshot of some of America’s biggest companies and their varying commitments to commercial solar installations. Solar energy is being deployed in a big way by some of the nation’s most influential brands who understand that solar can both lower operating costs and increase bottom line profits. At the top of the list for solar capacity were Wal-Mart, Costco, Kohl’s, IKEA and Macy’s. Perhaps surprisingly, Wal-Mart topped the list with almost double the capacity of 2nd place Costco.”
