A UN meeting on autonomous weapons convenes in Geneva next week. More than 20 countries have already called for a total ban on killer robots.
This is one of the main unresolved areas in the future uses of tech under the “nirvana or nightmare” dichotomy: very much in the nightmare category as things stand.
