On his second day of Congressional Testimony, the Facebook boss had a harder time in the House than he did in the Senate. Congresswoman Shakowski of Illinois read a long list of his apologies for mis-steps, starting in 2003, as evidence that self regulation can never work.
Congressman Frank Pallone summed up the situation as he sees it: “Our laws are not working” …”we need “comprehensive privacy and data protection legislation.”
As the onion of serial worrying discoveries unpeels, it is impossible to disagree with this.
