Demand for new diesel cars fell by more than a third in March – normally the top selling month of the year.
And yet, notwithstanding the criminal convictions of two senior executives so far, VW’s global sales have risen, and its share price has rebounded. It seems to me that there may be more to the UK sales fall than cheating on diesel then.
