Zuckerberg and his board suffer a barrage from investors and protestors at Facebook’s annual meeting

“You Broke Democracy”, a plane-towed banner reads. Investors warn of “corporate dictatorship.” But there is no sign of investors voting with their capital. They, at the end of the day, acceded to his having absolute control. And still he has it.

It would be interesting to hear from neuroscientists on how all the attacks might be affecting the young man’s thinking. Might it be tipping him towards the good corporate governance, transparency and trust-building that is so badly needed? Or perhaps the reverse? I haven’t seen any analyses. Meanwhile regulators ponder what to do next.
